Alright! I'm transforming these weekly digest into more or less monthly ones. Seeing all those similar posts make me dizzy.

Here's a catch up on last month:

Bludit

updated this blog to v3.18.0. Went smoothly! Opened a PR for a display issue with Search plugin that was accepted.
pushed a new theme based on my website design. Hope it's enjoyable

ASUS P452LA: I've changed the disk (from HDD to SSD) and doing so created a tutorial for iFixit (in French). Now it's fast & furious except for... the DVD reader. Have to look at it. I added a swapping partition because the system was freezing from time to time. Maybe I'll update RAM, it's quite simple on this laptop, but thanks to AI it's very costly now.
ASUS R541U: this one is hard to work with. After changing the RAM from 4Go to 8Go sometime last year I re-assembled it wrongly. I managed to fix that after a lot of back and forth with touchpad and keyboard connections, hurray! On the OS side, I cheated to force Windows 11 install but the disk quality is poor and basically you can do nothing with this computer. To verify if it's due to hardware or software, after I managed to reset boot security I've installed Emmabuntus and then tried to install Linux Lite but... it does not work, I can't get it installed. The computer is making a lot of noise (ventilation? HDD?) and has the velocity of an Ent. So I think it has to do with hardware. I may change from HDD to SSD. All of this is of my wife's godfather. We bought him another laptop last year but... it's not starting anymore.

worked a bit on the PDF (on Scribus) for next project but eventually we'll have it another way
