2026 digest #9
Oops it's already two months since the last digest. Actually it's mainly because life (friends, family, housework, playing Tears of the Kingdom...) is holding up most of my time & tech related things are not of the top most priority. Nevertheless, here's a few updates.
- I eventually read Chris's post about Container queries. Very interesting! This will be very handy someday. He moved away from sending emails. so it was the occasion to install again FreshRSS on my home server, for all of us 4 users. I did it in the past but didn't use it much. I've subscribed to a few RSS feeds.
- As I noted having some knowledge of TypeScript could be useful as a developer set I started a tutorial on W3School & FreeCodeCamp video <- I would not recommend this one, it gave be a headache with the glitching background and weird pacing.
- I updated all the Bludit powered sites I manage to version 3.22.0. I noticed a few glitches, I'll work on fixing them. Someone pointed out that the Simple.css theme I added in the Bludit theme gallery is calling for an external CSS which may cause problems. I'll investigate that.
- I started looking at my wife godfather's computer because it's not starting anymore. I've not found out why yet. From reading forums & co my hypothesis would be crashing the motherboard but this needs further investigation
- side projects are on hold but still there, somewhere in my mind... I hope someday I'll be able to finish at least one!
