Julie Boissière-Vasseur

Stasbourg, France

Digital content distributor for Hachette Livre for more than 10 years, I help publishers with their ebook and audiobook catalogues and take part in the service improvement projects.

In addition to my profesionnal life, I have a true passion for digital topics, in particular web developement, mainly self-taught. Here's a selection of my work:

les éditions du samedi

Would translate in Saturday publishing house.

Organization co-founder in , now volonteer, I play the roles of publisher, ebook producer and webmaster.

In , I migrated our website from PluXML to Eleventy; there's some notes about it on my blog. In 2026, tranks to Framaspace, I configured a Nextcloud instance in replacement of Dropbox, which was reaching the end of its capabilities.

Bludit

Bludit is my favourite CMS these past years. I apreciate it because it has a "flat" database (in JSON), it's quick and easy to install and well documented.

Among other projects, I've used it to run:

I'm adapting themes and plugins for my needs or my friends' and suggest fixes, theme and plugins on the global project.

Self-hosting

It's been a few years I'm hosting a Nextcloud instance for 4 users on a Raspberry Pi via Yunohost. I handle maintenance and do my best to resolve inevitable issues (for instance, the SD card that was holding data crash in 2023).

Web projects

Qwixx

After several unsuccessful attempts, I'm proud that in May 2024 I ended up to version 1 of the web adaptation of Qwixx boardgame. I wrote about it on my blog.

Work on V2 started in 2025 but is for now in hibernation mode.

Non merci

Recently, I'm progressing on a beta for Non merci (No thank you), a small web application to share a list of food items with your closed ones- it's a request from my mum. I take this opportuniy to get to know Kelp UI, a semantic library.
